Aiba came out of the apartment and leaned on the wall, tears already falling down his cheeks. He never thought it would end like that between Sho and him. He grabbed the shirt on his "petto" because his heart was aching like hell. He would have liked to disappear, not as he thought when he tried to leave Sakurai. It was a miserable and empty feeling, as if he didn’t know what to do with his life anymore. He always tried to be positive, to see the good in everything but his cheerful smile was crushed by all of the last happenings.
Matsumoto came out of the house like a storm and when he saw Aiba crying, he suddenly hugged him.
"I'm sorry Aiba-chan, I didn't know anything of what was going on between those two idiots."
Aiba sniffed, trying to free himself from the hug, saying:
"It's okay. I was going to break up with him anyway." He lied. "You know, I'll go back to Chiba. Tomorrow will be my last day at the club. I finally collected all the money I need and today I gave my demission letter to Kimura-san."
"Don't do it because of Sakurai." Matsumoto said seriously and worriedly looked into Aiba's eyes.
"I'm not. Now I just want to go home, Jun-kun. I'm tired."
"I'll give you a ride." Matsumoto offered but Aiba said he didn't need it because he wanted to clear his mind and a walk would surely help.
"Then I will see you tomorrow at the club." Jun said like he wanted to reassure himself that Aiba wouldn't do anything stupid. Aiba nodded, sadly smiling and they greeted each other a goodnight.
Aiba walked for a while thinking about what just happened. Now everything was clear in his mind. Why all of a sudden did Sakurai begin to act coldly towards him? He finally had an answer. He wasn't in love with Aiba anymore. Maybe he was never in love with him in the first place. Tears ran down his cheeks and looking at the dark blurry sky, a humbled smile appeared on his lips.
"You're unlucky, Masaki." He murmured to himself, devastated by the pain in his heart. "You always love the wrong guy. You better never fall in love again, ne~?" He added and falling on his knees, he broke in a loud cry. The streets were empty at that time of the night. Just some cars were passing by but the drivers were too focused on their lives to notice a sad man crying in a corner of the street. Aiba felt tired and worthless and decided to go home but when he arrived there, he remembered he will have to be alone and he really didn't want to be alone right now but Nino was still at Ohno's place. "I'll call him. He's the only one I can trust anyway." He bitterly said to himself before taking out his phone.
"Moshi moshi." Nino answered, knowing that it was Aiba. "It's 4 o'clock. Are you crazy to call me so early?"
"Ah, gomen Nino. Can we meet?"
"Ma-chan, daijobu?" Nino asked worried, hearing the cracked voice of his friend.
"I don't know." Aiba replied, again on the verge of tears.
"Where are you?"
"I'll wait for you at the pub near your house." Nino could hear expectation and sadness in Aiba's voice so he answered immediately that he would be there soon.
He left a message on the nightstand for Satoshi who was still soundly asleep and wearing the first clothes he found, he drove to the pub. As expected Aiba was still there, sitting at the counter and staring at an empty glass.
"Ohy Ma-chan, what's going on?" He asked, sitting next to Aiba.
"Too much." The latter replied with a cracked voice like he was going to cry. "I'm going back to Chiba, Nino." He added turning towards his friend with a bitter smile.
"Eh? Why?" Nino asked surprised by this sudden revelation. He thought he was happy with his life. Well, Aiba was always showing happiness even if something was wrong. But Nino really thought that Aiba was happy with Sakurai although all of the bad things that happened, like Matsuoka's death. He didn't want to separate again from his best friend. He got used to have him around and knowing that they would bid farewell again was hurting him.
"You know, tonight I finally collected all of the money I needed to pay my debt and I gave my demission letter to Kimura-san."
"Really? It's something to be happy! Why are you so gloomy?" Nino said before ordering two glasses of wine to celebrate.
"I wished to make a surprise to Sho-kun." Aiba continued. "He was so jealous whenever I came back home from work. But now I decided to go back to my family's home. I guess his father was right. Sho was just playing around with me."
"His father? You met his father?" Nino cried out fearful and flustered by the news.
"Yes, it happened this afternoon. Do you know? He's a yakuza and he paid all of my debts." Aiba answered with a resentful tone before drinking all of his wine. Nino just stared at his own glass.
"Gomen." He whispered and Aiba looked at him with a puzzled expression that was asking for a clear explanation.
"I'm really sorry, Ma-chan. I already know it." Aiba's eyes widened in surprise. "Satoshi explained everything to me the day after you found Sakurai and me with Matsuoka."
"Why didn't you say anything?" Aiba asked feeling betrayed.
"Satoshi made me promise to keep the secret. He wished for Sakurai to tell you the truth."
"Sakurai, Sakurai...why does everything turn around him? I'm tired of this." He said drained.
"But he loves you, Ma-chan."
"Yes, that's why he cheated on me." Aiba said pitiful and looked at his empty glass while tears were forming in his eyes. Nino was shocked. There was surely some misunderstanding.
"No way. Satoshi was sure that Sakurai is madly in love with you."
"Well, Satoshi was wrong. When I came home tonight, he was heatedly kissing with Toma-san." He said upset and bit his lower lip. "And I don't think it was the first time. I always wondered why he had all those things prepared for guests but now everything is turning clear. His father was right."
"Ma-chan. Cool down, please." Nino tried to comfort his friend with no results.
"How can I cool down? He kept secrets, played with me like I was his new toy and then cheated on and threw me away! It's great! I always fall in love with assholes!"
Aiba couldn't restrain himself. The anger and pain were too much for him to handle. He really thought that Sho was a good person and that sometimes he acted like a jerk because he wasn't able to express his feelings. But maybe that was just the image Aiba created in his mind.
"I bet there's a meaning behind his beh..."
"Don't justify his behavior! Damn! He said he loves me! Why did he change so much in such a short time?" Aiba blurted out, finally letting his tears fall again.
Nino couldn't help but feel pity for his friend and angry towards Sakurai. He tightly hugged Aiba and suggested to go home.
"You need some rest Ma-chan and when you wake up, I'll prepare breakfast for the both of us and we will talk again with a clear mind. Okay?" Aiba just nodded and sniffed with his nose. "Get a grip of yourself! You're really a crybaby." The gamer joked trying to distract his friend and left the money for the drinks on the counter, letting the waiter know with a gesture of his hand.
"Hai." Aiba replied to his friend with a lonely smile and they both left the pub and went home.
It was difficult for Aiba to fall asleep. His mind was full of thoughts and Sakurai's bag that was lying next to his bed wasn't helping. He turned around, a ray of sun was already coming through the window and looking at the dim light, mixed feelings were shaking his heart. The anger, the pain, the miss, the sadness. He wasn't able to forget about Sho even for a moment. Aiba couldn't believe of what he saw some hours ago. Everything felt like a dream... like a bad dream. He wanted some explanation, he needed to know why Sakurai acted like that because he couldn't stand to be treated like that twice. He took his phone and called Sakurai but the lawyer didn't answer. He tried again and again with no results therefore he decided to leave a message at the answering machine.
"Ne~ Sho-kun. I wish to see you at the club tonight. I will wait for you because we really need to talk."
After that, he felt a bit relaxed and maybe thanks to the little alcohol he drank, Aiba was able to fall asleep.

When he woke up some hours later, Nino was already in the kitchen, trying to cook something.
"Ohayo." Aiba said sitting on a chair.
"Ohayo, Ma-chan." Nino greeted without distracting himself from the omelette he was trying to cook.
"Do you need help?" The latter asked between a yawn, amused by the hard time his friend was having.
"No, I'm okay. I'm doing my best therefore it will be delicious." The makeshift chef said full of himself. "Have you cleared your mind?"
"Yes, I made a decision." Aiba replied serious with a resolute tone. "I gave him one more chance. If he won't show up tonight at the club and won't explain what went on in his mind, tomorrow I will go back home."
Nino looked at his best friend for a while before realizing that his omelette was almost burnt. He took it away from the stove, screaming and then sighed in relief.
"It's still edible." He said putting the brown omelette on a plate and giving it to Aiba.
"Well, if you say so..." Aiba took a bite and after some seconds continued, "Yes, it's still edible." And gave to Nino one of his bright smiles.
"I called Satoshi. He said he will talk with Sakurai."
"There's no need." Masaki said before eating another piece of omelette.
"Ma-chan, how can you be okay after just some hours?" Nino asked doubting Aiba's behavior.
"I'm not okay, Nino." Aiba replied looking straight in his friend's eyes with a wounded look. "I'm just trying to be positive. I've finally repaid my debt, I want to restart my life."
"How?" Nino kept on asking perplexed.
"Everything depends on Sho. If he will give me a proper explanation about his behavior, I will stay here in Tokyo and look for a proper job. Otherwise I will go back home and help in my family's restaurant. Dou?"
Nino smiled reassured. "You are always a surprise, Ma-chan. But I'm glad you're trying to go on."

If Sho really want to let go of Masaki he wont show at the club .. for Masakis safety it would be better .. but even if he don't show himself i'm sure somebody will tell Aiba .. it would be good if Sho get to know that Masaki already knows about all he will be going after him more easy :-) or Sho has the Guts to tell Aiba the whole truth .. I'm wondering :-):-)

OMG!!! I missed the last update!!!! gomen, gomen !m(_ _)m.

Sho-chan, why!!!!! I can understand his reasosn, but are many different ways to broke up with Aiba. He knows how much Aiba suffers with her ex-boyfriend.
Jun and Nino are great friends. *hugs for them*
Mmmmm I think that Ohno tell Sho that Aiba knows everything, but i think that he don't show in the club. I think will be Toma who explains all to Aiba. The next week i read that all my predictions are wrong xD

kyaaaaa~ an update! Sorry for only commenting now because I just discovered this series a few days ago and read all 15chpaters in one go...^^' awww... I feel so sad for Sakuraiba especially for Masaki. I'm not sure as to what Sho will do, but my instincts are telling me that he'll go to the club but not show himself to Masaki. He would want to see his love for the last time (drama queen.lolz) But I do hope Sakuraiba will have their happily ever after :D
